1. We will depart from Bethel CRC, (3500 East Glenwood-Lansing Road, Lansing IL) on Saturday evening, January 21, 2012. Buses will load at 6:00 p.m. (CST) YOU MUST park along the fence if you are leaving your car at Bethel. This church is gracious enough to let us use their parking lot, and will worship on Sunday. Please be respectful of their property and kindness.

2. We will travel on Royal American coaches ( The Free Enterprise System). Buses have bathrooms. Royal American’s office number is (708) 474-7474.

3. On the bus, you will receive a packet of information regarding the Washington subway system, a Washington, D.C. map, legislator’s office and/or meeting information, and other pertinent information.

4. No smoking on the bus.

5. Things to take: games, snacks, pillow, warm clothes, money for meals and the subway during our stay.

6. You are allowed to take a sign, but please remember it must fit on the subway.

7. No assigned seating on buses. First come, first served. Please plan to sit in the same seat for the return trip unless you and another rider agree to trade (you may leave pillows/blankets on the bus).

8. We will stop approximately three times throughout the night. Please keep our stops en route to a 15-minute maximum. The third and last stop will be in Breezewood, PA, and we will stop for breakfast for one hour. We will arrive Sunday morning, January 22 at the hotel. A holding room for luggage will be provided if our rooms are not ready. Hotel info is:

9. Sunday, January 22 will be a day for sightseeing and worship.

10. Monday , January 23 is the March for Life. The March begins with a rally at the Washington Monument at noon and is usually finished by 3:00 p.m.

11. Buses will leave Washington, D.C. on Monday evening. We will have only short stops on the return trip; no supper stop.

12. We will return to the Lansing area Tuesday morning, January 24.

13. The cost of the trip is $125 for adults and $80 for those in high school and younger. Reservations must be made by December 15, 2011, will full payment due by January 5, 2012. Reservations are for double occupancy. Cancellations requested after January 5 will be refunded at only half the price. Anyone seeking to register after the December 15 deadline will be placed on a waiting list and charged an additional $50 per person. PLEASE register early to ensure that your seat and hotel room will be available!

15. Due to confined space on the buses and uncertain weather conditions, and in keeping with our desire always to protect born and unborn children, we strongly discourage children under 5 years old from making the trip. We hope everyone understands and abides by this rule.

16. Unless the roads are closed due to weather conditions, the buses will proceed with the trip.
